for any country to prosper u need three thingswater, electricity and roads.future energy needs will be fulfilled.becoz ours is a growing economy and we need enery to fuel our development. nuclear energy is pollution free.
THE DEMERITS
proper disposal of nuclear waste must be ensured. regular supply of nuclear fuel must be ensured. It hindres the future indigenous development of thorium based reactors in our country.we will bcom puppets of us .
i personally feel that this deal is a tactic from the part of us govt to attck china ... china is the next superpower ... us want a strong base to affect china so theyare giving such offers to india ... nuclear deal is a mass project and need lots of money and time ... its better to develop other sources in india for power ..more over india is capable of setting nuclear powerstation of its own .. we have the technology .. so why should we need the help of us.. us had earlier opposed the pokhran and other nuclear tests in india .. why are they supporting us now.. more over the iran pipeline is chaeper and will reduce power crisis temporarily ,, why is the govt not looking foward for it when it is available cheaply ?
